The learning process in Mechanical Engineering program uses 11 laboratories to support the learning process and 3 laboratories as research laboratories to support the final project. List of laboratories that support the process of learning mechanical engineering as follows:

- CNC & CAD/CAM Laboratory
- Physical Metallurgical Laboratory
- Foundry Laboratory
- Applied Mechanics Laboratory
- Fluid Mechanics Laboratory
- Cooling and Heating Machine Laboratory
- Fluid Machinary Laboratory
- Combustion Engine Laboratory
MEP has established a semester learning plan (RPS) that contains lab workshops. MEP has also completed practicum modules in each laboratory. At each practicum, Standard operation procedure (SOP) has also been established for each laboratory.
