At the postgraduate level, the Mechanical Engineering program focuses on research through laboratory-based education to produce graduates with specialized field expertise Areas of specialization range from energy systems, fluid mechanics, heat transfer and robotics, and material engineering. Through a guided research focus, this program prepares students to make original contributions in Mechanical Engineering and related fields. ME Unhas consistently conducts research collaborations between national and international institutions for postgraduate Mechanical Engineering studies. Graduate program leading to the Masters in Mechanical Engineering and the Mechanical Engineering Doctoral degree program are offered with a choice of the following sub-fields of study: Mechanical Construction, Energy Conversion, and New Renewable Energy
