Placement of graduates on the labor market

Information about the placement of graduates in the labor market is done through tracer studies. Tracer studies were conducted in 2010, 2015 and 2019. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed on various social networks such as Facebook, WhatsApp groups, mailing lists, e-mails and sending emails to MEP graduate users. In addition, MEP also provides tracer studies on the MEP web https://mechanical.unhas.ac.id/en/tracer-study/ as a source of information.

Tracer study measurements made in 2019 show:

  1. Number of graduates who were tracked were 278 alumni
  2. Around 269 people (96.8%) of the alumni tracked had worked
  3. The waiting period for getting the first job is 41% (0-3 months) and 27% (3-6 months)
  4. Types of work of alumni employed are jobs related to the Energy Industry (19.2%), Manufacturing / Construction Industry (18.8%) and Teachers in educational institutions / Trainer / Instructors (14.5%)

The tracer study results are used to assess the achievement and evaluation of the PLO.
